For the longest time, I brushed off the idea that Kenny Chesney, country superstar, was anything really to listen to. I just didn't get the appeal, but I'd never actually listened to his music.
That has all changed. A few months ago, I bought my first Kenny Chesney album, and I'm now in love with him, in the musical sense. He's an amazing artist, has great songwriting talent (although, I know he doesn't necessarily write all of his songs), and his lyrics and music really speak to my heart, my soul.
My musical tastes are so eclectic, though, that Pink, who is far from the country spectrum since she's rock/pop, speaks to my heart and soul in the same way that Kenny Chesney does. Her music and lyrics, while completely different from Kenny Chesney's, are just as beautiful, hypnotizing, and fun.
Thank God for variety!
