Tonight, a rare event happened: it snowed in Houston, and more specifically, Pearland where we live, and Pearland is slightly further south of Houston.
And as the daily meditation's quote said in my earlier blog posting, I relished in the excitement and joy of huge snowflakes falling softly from the night sky. I caught some on my tongue, took lots of pictures, and watched the magic of Mother Nature. Like the fluffiest slivers of the softest cotton candy, the snowflakes fell, blanketing the tops of our cars and collecting on the ledges of the car windows.
And for the first time in a long time, I felt like a kid again, enjoying the wonderment called life.
